About the Business
I fell in love with floristry from the very beginning, and its been a rewarding relationship. Being Australian I was fortunate enough to grow up in a National Park in amongst the most impressive native vegetation. I was often found playing with my barbies in amongst the flowers at the bottom of a great big gum tree. I'm Inspired by Georgian floristry, a period from 1714 and 1830 and not to mention weddings like Princess Diana, Kate Moss and Grace Kelly. I feel my calling for floristry grew deep within me from when I was a little girl.
I have memories of being quite young, giving my teacher a flat bouquet of flowers, that had been picked from my garden that very morning. Floristry in art and form can take our breath away visually, but even better it can build memories with scent, that stays with us forever. Smell an old tea rose, and we're taken back to our grandmothers garden. The smell stays with us forever.
