About the Business
With a postgraduate in Communications, Monica initially worked in Public Relations which took her to Australia in search of a more creative way of working. Here she met the artist Alison Coates and gradually filled her weeks with flowers and pods rather than press releases and media lists honing and refining her eye for shape and colour and learning about simplicity and balance.
Returning to Scotland in 1999, Monica found the perfect site for her busy flower shop in leafy Marchmont and had eleven years of wonderful collaborations with her customers who returned year after year for the treats they found there.
