About the Business
Daisychain isn't just one person, we have an eclectic group of floral designers who have a wealth of creative knowledge and passion for flowers. I have worked in the industry for over 14 years, and have been surrounded by flowers since I can remember, as my mother is a florist. My mother and I have been in partnership since I was 19, where she spotted my natural flare for floristry and bloomed under her wing. She encouraged me to study floristry at College, where I enjoyed the freedom to relax in the classroom and let my style develop.
I nurtured and embraced new techniques, fashions, and particularly how flowers are used through different eras and cultures. This knowledge is now shared with my team and used every day in our store. After a few years I started to teach Floral Art at the College where I was a student. This suited my creative imagination, and in the future I would like to offer something similar in our store for customers.
