About the Business
I have been in the floristry industry since becoming a "Saturday girl" after two weeks of very enjoyable work experience when I was 15, at a very large and busy florist shop. After a year of being a "Saturday girl", the owners of the florists asked if I would like to work there full-time after I had finished school, which I gladly accepted.
I spent two years at a horticultural college studying floristry and the rest of the time I spent at the shop, building a really vast knowledge of flowers and foliages, whilst also building on my skills in all other aspects of my job.
After working at the florists for eight years, and having progressed as far as possible, and winning numerous awards for design along the way, I decided to open my own floristry shop, Bohemia Floral Design in Hornsea, East Yorkshire, where I can showcase my own talents and have freedom over the designs I produce.
