About the Business
My mother was a bridal flower creator and teacher who demonstrated the floral arts around the world, so growing up our house was always bursting with luscious, explosive, beautiful colours and I quite literally learned how to blend them into gorgeous creations at my mother's knee. This lifelong learning, natural instinct, formal training and quite simply, a passion for flowers, resulted in the launch of Amanda French Flowers in 2011. Mainly designing for weddings, parties and corporate events I also create regular floral designs for homes and businesses in the South Wales area. When flowers are in season they are at their most beautiful - the colours are more vibrant and the scent more fragrant. I am inspired by nature, the seasons and the English Garden and am constantly excited and challenged by what this has to offer and how I can incorporate it in my designs.
